Will the show be taped in advance?
At this time we do plan on filming the show in June with a broadcast to theaters in August, because in our many years of doing this, we often felt let down by the live stream via satellite capabilities. Filming the show in advance means we can send the final product to theaters in advance, thus eliminating as many potential problems before they happen.

When will tickets go on sale? How do I get them?
Tickets to see RiffTrax Live in theaters typically go on sale about 3 weeks before the show date. In-person tickets to the June filming will be on sale much sooner than that.
In addition, Kickstarter Backers at the LIVE SHOW DVD ($100) level and higher will get an advance window for purchasing tickets to see the show in person before the general public! Maximum of 5 tickets per purchase.
Look for more information around May. We’ll post an update specifically about the “Backer-only advance ticketing window” with details about the ticketing link.
VIPs get a pair of tickets for themselves and a guest to the first three rows of seats as part of their rewards, so purchasing tickets is not required for VIP level Backers.

Will I be able to purchase more rewards later?
Yes! If you make a pledge to this Kickstarter at any reward tier (even digital only) you can add extras to your pledge via the Add-ons section.
Even if you didn’t back at a physical reward tier, you’ll be able to purchase, or add-on to your pledge, additional physical items like shirts and DVDs even after the campaign is over thanks to Kickstarter’s “Late Campaign backer” feature.

Can I put someone else's name in the Thank You page / end credits / etc.?
Yes! If you are pledging to honor a loved on, family member, or even a friend, you are able to do that. We’ll send out surveys after the campaign has ended with spaces to enter that sort of information. Please give us at least 2 weeks after the end of the campaign to receive your surveys.

The movie is rated R. Do you plan to edit it to make it more family-friendly?
We are making minor cuts to remove some of the more gratuitous nudity. The movie itself is rated “R” for violence, language, and brief nudity, and we recommend treating the movie as such even in for our live show. It is available to stream free on Amazon Prime and Peacock, among others, if you wish to screen it beforehand.

How do I pledge?
In order to pledge, click that green button that says “Back this project”. You’ll get to select your shipping country and choose your desired pledge level and reward.

When is my money collected?
Your money will be collected only after the project ends on April 7th, 2025. Kickstarter will process payments for one week, and then will notify backers of any failed charges. Backers will then have one more week to fix their payment card before their pledge is dropped - but you’ll still be able to pledge later through PledgeManager so you don’t miss out!

When will I get my items?
All RiffTrax Live rewards are set to ship by December, 2025. Depending on your location, you’ll get them around that time, if not earlier. Please note that this is an estimate, as you’re pre-ordering the product and production delays could arise.

How do I purchase add-ons?
If you’re a backer already, click the green “Manage your pledge” button and then the “Change your pledge” button. From there you must confirm (or change) your chosen reward tier. The next screen will let you Add items from the list of add-ons.

Will there be a Blu-ray of the live show?
Yes, when you select the DVD reward tier or add-on, you will be able to choose the Blu-ray format. The Blu-ray option has been unlocked as a stretch reward.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
